Two decades after the Helsinki MoU, Aceh remains one of the world's most instructive post-conflict settings. We study reintegration, transitional justice, and the long institutions of peace — from the village hall to the provincial legislature.

Tridā Advokasi & Riset is an independent civil society organisation working from Banda Aceh — the westernmost point of the archipelago, and one of its sharpest vantage points. We believe good policy begins with ground truth: evidence gathered close to the people it concerns, analysed without fear, and argued in public.
We work with universities, government agencies, communities, and international partners — always on the side of the evidence. Our researchers combine social science training with deep local networks across Aceh and Sumatra.
